That Cliche New Years Post (Goodbye 2016)

Before we jump headfirst into 2017, let’s take a look back at 2016, 2015, even 2000. All of our years build up to this coming year. And all we’ve learned builds the people that we are in the new year. The character with which we will approach our lives and the challenges we are certain to face.

A picture from the middle of summer 2016 has me grateful for the opportunity to go to a good school, to go on late adventures to find ice cream, and enjoying the sunset during it all.

Since I’m the “When the Sun Goes Down” author, you may assume I’m obsessed with sunsets. You’d be correct.

How could I complain about taking summer school when there’s a sunset so beautiful waiting to be discovered every single night? When there’s the gorgeous Stone Arch Bridge basically in my backyard?

What are some things you’re grateful for?
